Predictive maintenance with AI at the edge in MEMS sensors
Join us for 1-hour webinar and learn about industry 4.0 ready sensor node featuring 6-axis IMU with Machine Learning Core
This webinar was broadcasted Wednesday, June 23rd 2021
Predictive maintenance is integral to Industry 4.0, and ST invests major effort in delivering powerful sensing, processing and communication solutions and development environments for viable condition monitoring and predictive maintenance systems.
During this 1-hour webinar, we will focus on the new ISM330DHCX 6-axis industrial MEMS sensor with Machine Learning Core (MLC), and show developers how they can get productive quickly and start extracting its Edge processing, AI and critical power saving capabilities, without necessarily writing any code.
During the session we will introduce the compact STWIN Wireless Industrial Node kit with special sensors, microcontroller and RF communication module, and the comprehensive development ecosystem to help designers quickly understand the essential mechanics and rapidly develop highly functional prototypes.
At the end of the experience, you will be able to start your own project using the ST guides and resources.
- Condition monitoring at the edge
- ST Sensors and ecosystem for smart industry
- Edge AI: machine learning in ISM330DHCX
- Practical use case: fan rack condition monitoring with MLC
Finally, there will be a live Q&A session of the webinar where ST's experts will be available to answer your questions.
Lisa has been involved in key consumer, automotive and industrial projects for the MEMS and Sensors Division since joining ST in 2012, including the deployment of critical IMU products for the smartphone market. Since 2020, she has played a key role in managing and defining the Artificial Intelligence strategy and roadmap for the same division.
Federico joined ST in 2015 as validation engineer for the MEMS and Sensors Division, where he began specializing in HW applications, validation systems and validation methodologies for accelerometers, gyroscopes and inertial modules. As of 2021, Federico has continued his development in the production marketing team for the same division.
The ISM330DHCX system-in-package features a high-performance 3D digital accelerometer and 3D digital gyroscope tailored for Industry 4.0 applications, offering superior accuracy, stability, extremely low noise and full data synchronization. The programmable FSM, FIFO, sensor hub, event decoding and interrupts combined with the embedded AI capabilities of its Machine Learning Core (MLC) allow the development of sophisticated sensor nodes and ensure high performance with very low power consumption.
