ワイヤレス･コネクティビティ
Bluetooth LE 5.2認証済みのSTM32WBx5ワイヤレス･マイコンは、Mesh 1.0ネットワークと複数のプロファイルをサポートします。また、優れた柔軟性により、Bluetooth LEの独自プロトコル･スタックをHCl層の最上位に組み込むことが可能です。汎用規格IEEE 802.15.4のMACレイヤにより、STM32WBx5は、メッシュ･ネットワーク･プロトコルであるZigBee PRO（さまざまなZigBee 3.0クラスタをサポート）やOpenThreadをはじめとする独自の通信プロトコルやスタックなどを実行できるため、設計段階でIoT機器の通信方式をより多くのオプションから選択できます。
STM32WBx5ワイヤレス･マイコンは超低消費電力を特徴とし、静的または動的にBluetooth LE 5.0と802.15.4の両ワイヤレス･プロトコルを並列実行できます。デュアルコア･アーキテクチャにより、セキュリティで保護されたOTA（Over-The-Air）を通じてプロトコル･スタックを更新できるため、長期にわたり無線リンクの保守とユーザ･アプリケーションの使用が可能です。
- STM32WB55マイコンは1MBのFlashメモリを搭載しているため、さまざまなプロトコル･スタックにおいて外部Flashメモリなしでスムーズなアプリケーションの動作を実現します。
また、より多くのメモリを必要とするアプリケーションにおいても、XIPによって外部メモリを接続することでシステム全体の効率向上が可能です。 - STM32WB35マイコンは、より軽量なアプリケーションを対象としており、USB 2.0、Quad-SPI、最大16bitの分解能を持つADコンバータなどのペリフェラルを搭載しています。そのため、マイコンおよびRFフロント･エンド双方の役割を果たすことで部材コストの削減に貢献します。
