Key components in a garage door opener are the motor and the associated driving electronics that must provide, high energy-efficiency and reliability, sensors to detect presence and improve safety and the remote control.

The motor can be either AC – usually single phase induction motor – or low voltage 3-phase brushless DC type, fed through an AC-DC converter

We offer a large selection of power MOSFETs, intelligent power modules (IPM) and triacs as well as: gate drivers, monolithic motor drivers and STM32 32bit microcontrollers, to help design efficient motor control solutions. In addition, we provide power management, AC-DC Supply and sub-GHz wireless connectivity solutions with ranging and presence sensors.

To help developer reduce development times we provide a comprehensive set of HW and SW evaluation and development tools.
