An electric forklift is a battery-operated truck with forks that can lift and move heavy loads. It is typically used in warehouses, logistics depots, or for loading and unloading materials and goods from transport vehicles.
The powertrain and the hydraulic system actuating the lifting mechanism rely typically on a permanent-magnet motor controlled by the associated high-power low-voltage inverters which represents the heart of the on-board electronics in a forklift.
Our offer includes an extensive range of 32-bit STM32 microcontrollers, our STripFET™ series of low-voltage MOSFETs together with high-performance operational amplifiers and comparators, switching and linear regulators. A comprehensive range of software libraries and hardware evaluation tools are also available to help build and design scalable, high-efficiency motor drive solutions for forklifts and other lifting vehicles, while reducing development time and costs.
