Blood pressure meters (BPM) estimate a person’s blood pressure by measuring the pressure in occluding cuff and then calculating systolic and diastolic pressure values using algorithms based on statistical data and/or neural network methodologies. BPMs are widely used in hospital equipment as well as in-home devices.
The precise control of the cuff’s inflation/deflation is a key element to prevent errors due to step changes in cuff pressure as well as high-accuracy digital accelerometers to help detect, and remove, motion artifacts.
We provide a large variety of MEMS sensors including environmental and motion sensors to detect motion artifacts in addition to low-power and high-performance STM32 microcontrollers, high-precision operational amplifiers and a variety of low-power linear and switching regulators to help developers design optimized blood pressure monitors.
