STMicroelectronics also provides the STM Android sensor Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) for the Linux Input device system; it defines a standard interface for STM sensors allowing Android to be agnostic about lower-level driver implementations. Integration details are available in the README section of the GitHub repository.
